2nd International Workshop on Economic Complexity and Macroeconomic Dynamics

September 18th – 19th, 2025

The Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), the Jaime I University and the University of Bamberg are pleased to host the 2nd second International Workshop on Economic Complexity and Macroeconomic Dynamics at the University of Bamberg, Germany, on September 18th-19th, 2025.

Confirmed Keynote speaker is:

We particularly encourage submissions of new work on the following topics:

  • Bounded rationality in macroeconomic models
  • Agent-based macroeconomic and financial models
  • Network models in climate policy, economics, and finance.
Paper Submission

Prospective speakers should submit a PDF file of their paper or an extended abstract of around one page to

complexitymacro.workshop@gmail.com  

by July 15, 2025, at the latest. If you are a graduate student (M.Sc. or PhD), please also indicate if you would be interested in presenting your work in a poster session. Notification of acceptance will be given by the mid-August 2025.
